dump: Kriterien für die Bewertung der Interaktion

Kriterien für die Bewertung der Interaktion:

These are the standard ones, since not everyone has fancy eye tracking tools at their disposal:
  • Did they complete their tasks?
  • How long did it take?
  • How much mouse travel was involved between actions? How many distinct input actions (clicks, mouse movements, moving a hand from mouse to keyboard and back, etc.) did it take, in total?
  • How many errors did the user make? Did they have to fix something on a form or go back?

Then some of the more fuzzy ones, because humans aren't computers. Some are sort of quantifiable if you design the survey right.
  • How confident were they at each step that their input would do what they thought it would? How did they feel when it didn't?
  • Does the product *feel* solid, or like it's going to break?
  • Would you say the product is professional? Fun? What impression does it give you of the company/people who made it?
  • Is there another product that does the same job? Which would you rather use? Why?

Milstead, J. (1998), "Thesauri in a full-text world", in Cochrane, P.A. and Johnson, E. (Eds), Visualizing Subject Access for 21st Century Information Resources, Proceedings of the 1997 Annual Clinic on Library Applications of Data Processing, Graduate School of Library and Information Science, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, IL, pp. 28-38. Im Web als PDF: http://dlist.sir.arizona.edu/archive/00000163/01/thesauri.pdf.
Indeed, in the near future, it appears likely that thesauri will be used more during retrieval than at input.
Milstead, 1998, Seite 1, Abschnitt "Introduction", Abs. 2, Z. 8-10

[wrs]

vgl. u.a. Quelle, Seite 2, von Abschnitt "Types of thesauri on the Web" die Liste

Weiteres Kriterium:
This vocabulary aid is designed to help quickly locate descriptors of possible interest and to show the hierarchy in which these descriptors appear.
